DRKT size guide
Start with your body measurements, then compare a comfortable garment. All measurements are in centimetres (cm).
Download size guide (PDF)Proposed DRKT measurements. XXS-4XL body, top and cuffed-bottom figures are supplied by DRKT; 5XL-8XL are calculated extensions. Straight-leg openings and the relaxed-cuff interpretation are provisional construction assumptions. Physical garment and fit checks are still required.
Measure your body
Use a flexible tape over light clothing. Stand naturally, keep the tape level and snug, and breathe normally. Do not pull it tight.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest and across your back, with your arms relaxed.
Natural waist
Measure around your natural waist, where your body bends to the side. This may sit above the waistband of your trousers.
Full hip
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
Choose your size
Find the size band for your chest and full hip. If they require different sizes, choose the larger size, then check that the same bottom size also accommodates your natural waist. Move up again if your waist needs more room.
If a measurement falls in a gap between bands, choose the next size up. For example, a 94.5 cm chest falls between S and M: choose M, then check your hip and waist. If any measurement exceeds the guide, contact us before ordering.
Body size and garment size are different
The body table describes your measurements. Finished garment measurements include extra room for movement, called wearing ease. Do not choose a body size using the circumference of a loose garment.

Finished cuffed bottoms
Tapered lower leg with an attached cuff. The stated inseam includes the cuff; do not add cuff height. Cuff values are relaxed circumferences, not maximum stretch.

Measure a finished garment
Lay the garment flat on a smooth surface. Smooth out wrinkles without stretching it. Compare like with like: a finished garment with a finished garment.
Top
Measure chest from side seam to side seam just below the armholes; measure hem across its finished edge. Double each flat width for circumference: 55 cm flat chest = 110 cm circumference.
HPS length runs from the high shoulder point beside the neckline to the hem. Measure shoulder width across the back between the shoulder seam points. Measure sleeve length from shoulder seam to sleeve edge; double the flat sleeve opening for its circumference. V depth runs vertically from HPS level to the bottom of the V.
Bottoms
Measure the waistband relaxed, then stretched without forcing it. Double each width. Measure the fullest hip across the seat, thigh just below the crotch and knee across the knee line; double each for circumference. Keep the same measurement positions when comparing garments.
Measure front and back rise along their centre seams from the top of the waistband to the crotch junction. These are seam lengths, not doubled widths.
Leg finishes
Straight leg: the lower leg runs straight into an open hem. Double the flat hem width.
Cuffed: the lower leg tapers into an attached cuff. Double the relaxed cuff width. Do not stretch it for the relaxed measurement. Maximum cuff stretch and foot clearance need checking against the actual elastic and construction.
The proposed bottom styles share waist, hip, rise, thigh, knee and total inseam measurements; their lower-leg shape and opening differ.
Chest, hem, sleeve opening, waist, hip, thigh, knee and leg opening are full circumferences. HPS, sleeve, V depth, rise and inseam are lengths. Shoulder is a width and is not doubled.
Inseam & custom length
Measure down the inside-leg seam from the crotch junction to the finished bottom edge. For cuffed bottoms, include the attached finished cuff in this total. For straight-leg bottoms, stop at the finished hem. Do not add cuff height to the listed inseam.
For a top, give the required finished HPS length. For bottoms, give the required finished inseam. Choose Shortening or Custom / Lengthening on the product page and enter the finished measurement in cm. For a full set that needs different top and bottom lengths, contact us before ordering so both measurements can be confirmed.
