Information we process
We may process names, title, email, cellphone number, delivery or collection-point details, order configuration, payment status and identifiers, Proof of Payment documents, support correspondence, after-sales records, store-credit references and ledger entries, money-conversion requests, technical security logs and administrator audit records. DRKT does not receive or store raw card details entered with PayFast. We protect store-credit security codes and send new codes to the account email address. Temporary delivery copies are removed after successful sending or when replaced by a newer code.
Why we process it
We use information to create and fulfil orders; verify payments; issue and redeem store credit; assess eligible money conversions; produce personalised garments; deliver and track parcels; issue invoices and transaction messages; manage returns, repairs, exchanges and refunds; prevent fraud; secure the Admin portal; keep accounting and legal records; and respond to customer or regulatory enquiries.
Store-credit security
Store credit is associated with the customer’s order email and cellphone number. Access requires a credit reference and the latest security code. A Circle account is optional. Repeated failed attempts temporarily lock access.
Only authorised staff can issue refund credit or process payouts. Staff access is limited to the information and actions needed for their role, and financial changes are recorded for accountability.
Optional Circle membership
Guest checkout remains available without a password or date of birth. Circle members provide a verified email, contact details and date of birth for age eligibility and the VIP birthday benefit. We keep protected sign-in details, Terms acceptance history, saved addresses, membership and VIP periods, qualifying purchases, colour preferences based on orders, offers and reward history. Connecting existing store credit requires proof that it belongs to you.
Only authorised staff may correct a confirmed date of birth, with the reason and change recorded. Production and Dispatch staff receive only the details needed for their work. Password-reset links expire and can be used once; temporary copies of these messages are removed after sending or expiry.
Marketing choices
Optional electronic marketing consent is separate from membership and checkout. It is not preselected and may be withdrawn in My DRKT or through support@drkt.co.za. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop necessary security, transaction, membership-status or reward-service messages. Campaign delivery must honour these preferences and applicable POPIA rules; membership is not blanket consent to advertising.
Sharing and safeguards
Information is shared only where reasonably necessary with service providers such as PayFast, banks, email hosting, website hosting and delivery or collection-point operators, or where lawfully required. Access is restricted by role. Proof of Payment documents are kept privately and can be accessed only by authorised staff.
Retention
Order, invoice, payment, refund, store-credit ledger, conversion and audit records are retained for legitimate operational, accounting, legal and dispute-resolution needs. Temporary or no-longer-required information is deleted or de-identified in line with applicable obligations. Original sale history is not erased merely because an order is cancelled, exchanged or refunded.
Your choices and rights
You may ask whether DRKT holds your information, request access or correction, object where applicable, request deletion where lawful, or raise a complaint. Contact admin@drkt.co.za. You may also approach South Africa’s Information Regulator.
Cookies and security sessions
The site uses essential session cookies to keep your bag, checkout and signed-in sessions working and to help prevent unauthorised requests. These are not used to require a customer account. Security logs may record an IP address, time and action to protect the service.
